Bob Henry earned First Place in the 2006 National Corn Growers Association Corn Yield Contest. Henry’s 1st place win was in the Kansas no-till, nonirrigated division with a yield of 245 bushels per acre. |

| Bob Henry is no stranger to high yielding corn. He placed 2nd in 2005 with a yield of 214 bu/ac. In 2004 he grew 252.5 bu/ac. That would have earned 1st place if he’d entered in 2004. |
| Henry used the same fertility program on all of his corn acres. There was nothing extra on the contest plot compared to the rest of the corn acres. |
| This marks the 7th year he has used his ‘one-pass planter system’ and fertility program that features a split application of nitrogen. Roughly half of the 130 lbs/ac of nitrogen is applied at planting with Thiosul while the rest is applied as a sidedress with a nitrogen stabilizer. |
